Many states have dental colleges which provide both relatively inexpensive emergency dental work and general restorative work and extractions once you get signed up.
Work is done by well qualified students (seeing a lot more women in such programs) supervised by an excellent staff of very experienced dentist.
Usually there is adequate parking (may not be free) and very modern and well equipt facilities.
Well my link does not work. I sent you a personal email ~ please do not expect any money from me (I am poor as Job, thanks to the NWO) but I am seen on the Internet. SOL
Gosh! I hate to hear stories like these and know exactly what you feel. I wish I could help..but I am in a similar situation. I have Sjorgen's disease and it causes inevitable tooth decay. I have lost many molars now, and it is so difficult to eat. I have a job and poor insurance. I barely have gas to take myself to work much less 3,000 for every implant. I have had severe infections that have gone ignored...
I cannot believe you are all so heartless as to make fun of a man who has clearly humbled himself to beg the help of those more fortunate than him. My heart feels deeply for this man as he is clearly in dire straits and is not trying scam you out of money, but rather just recieve dental care. I cannot imagine what it must be like to wake up every day in severe oral pain, losing my teeth and having no options open to me. To laugh at a fellow human being in this position and suggest that he brush with "salt and pepper" or that perhaps he doesnt "need teeth" to get by is cruel and heartless.
If I were in any position to lend a helping hand you bet your ass I would. Unfortuantely I am a 22 year old college student without any money myself.
We learned in one of my psychology classes just the other day that it is nearly impossible for people to do COMPLETELY altruistic acts. I didn't want to believe it, but this is a sad reflection on the compassion left in our species.
my daughter just came from corpus christi tx and need some dental work all 4 of her top teeth have chiped off and broke right now i do not have a lot of money because they came with very and we are replacing she has a 2yr and 4 yr old but i can pay
Hi, my card can save you up to 75% on your prescriptions! Simply print it out, take to the pharmacy and save!!!! The card is free, so print out however many you may need!! God bless
try the university of NC at chapell hill , they do dental work at a reduced cost and you can work with financial services but dentures are like$ 300 and you may be on a wait list for a few months but it's worth a try .
oh yea. one other resource for those needing dentures. To enlist in the army, i had to have full extraction and replacement. Due to time constraints, i had to opt for dentures. I got mine from the Donelson, TN office of Affordable Dentures, Inc. From what i've been told by the founder of Interfaith Dental Clinic and the Captain who examined me upon my arrival at Ft. Benning, Affordable made me an exceptionally well fitting, high quality set of dentures. The Captain also commented on how well my extractions were done and how "perfect" (as she put it) my ridges (the gum/bone structures left after extractions) were. If you're in the middle tennessee area, and need dental work, DEFINITELY look into these 2 resources
Just a couple of suggestions for those who need dental work on a shoestring budget.
1) look for colleges/universities in your area with a dental school... you can generally get work done there much cheaper than at a dentist (because the work is done by students who are supervised by the dentistry professors teaching there)
2) look for dental/health based local charities, or locally or state run health facilities (again, these types of places charge on a sliding scale based on income). If you're in or near Nashville, TN you could try Interfaith Dental clinic (where i got full upper and lower extraction for less than 1/3 what an oral surgery unit was wanting to charge) or Matthew Walker Comprehensive clinic for almost any healthcare issue (including dental.. they were even cheaper than Interfaith, but i did not have the time to wait on their dental waiting list).

ok, as you can see i haven't a clue as to what im doing. but this guy does make me smile. i read my e-mail again this morning.
you know, i hate the word "disabled" it makes you sound so worthless.
and when i said 10,000, i wasnt expecting a whopping check in the mail, i know i have to do one tooth at a time.
like i said before, ive never done this,so how do i know if anyone is giving me advice? or dollars? where do i go? all i know is to check my e-mail.
you know, you think you have it bad ~ and i do~but then i see pictures of others and it makes me really sad. I AM SO MAD THAT "HEALTHCARE" doesnt include dental help! Good luck to everyone.
I just cannot believe there is no help what so ever for people like us, everyone talks about health care, why not dental care? i cant smile, laugh or hardly even eat because of my teeth. who has 10,000????
ive been on a waiting list for at least 2 years for some program.nothing has come from that. ive searched everywhere for help, i had to go on disability, due to illness, that alone has devasted me, i lost my job, my home, my credit, my car, my friends. im not a dead beat, i dont use drugs, i dont drink, i have a hard time with my diabetes and i recently found out how dangerous things can get when a person is a diabetic.
By the way my name is Rhonda, i live in Daytona beach, Fl. im desperate for any information i might not know about, or if anyone can help me. People used to say i lit up a room, thats not the case now.
I dont feel sorry for myself, but i am human. It's not just for cosmetic reasons, im very scared for my health as well. I did go to the dentist once, did my x-rays and a quote. (my knees buckled) so i can provide his name and phone number to have this all verafied. there are so many people that have so much money, they will never spend it in this lifetime and there are people that want to help. But where are they?
Im not very good on the computer, i dont even know how i got here.i try to stay hopefull, but you all must know how i feel. thanks for even taking the time to read this.

I am a 39 year old, father of nine. We have five children in our home now. Since August 1999, I have suffered from a severe back injury. Also, I have suffered from diabetes since 2003 (best estimate from my doctor) which was not treated until June 2007. As a result of all this, I have not been able to work. However, since my sugar has gotten regulated to normal, I am feel so much better. So much so, that I am feeling like I can re-enter the workforce. I have about a year to go before I finish a degree in English and Literature from Mountain State University.
What I need is all my upper teeth pulled and dentures. I have no dental insurance to help pay for this. I also need it done to help me get employed. They simply look too bad.... if someone has any advice or could help, I would greatly appreciate it!
Hi Robert
I am Cm from India. I am not sure this work for you, but we are using this herbal method for us. Try yourself with confidence. Mix Sea Salt and Pepper to with clove oil to use to wash/brush your teeth everyday. Clove oil is not important. Rinse your mouth at least 6 to 10 times after brushing. Take enough time for brushing teeth.
Do not eat sweets after 6 PM.
Use only normal cool water to wash your head.
You may have to use some tablets for release pain for the first time.
Best of luck
Have wonderful days.
I am a 47 year old single mom with older children and one 11 yr. old son still at home. I was 14 when my dad kicked me out of my home and have been working ever since till now. It was not easy but I made my way, eventually got married had kids, then divorced. I raised my kids as a single mom working very hard eventually rising to a good management position. Through the years my teeth have been getting worse, even so I had dental coverage I really couldn't afford my part of the cost as other bills like rent, food, my kids where a higher priority. Still I could smile, my situation was a lot better than others and my teeth were ok looking.
Like many Christmas is my favorite time of the year and always brought a smile to my face but Christmas 2005 was the beginning of me loosing my smile for good. My youngest son was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1 for Christmas and that was only the beginning. My teeth were beginning to get really bad, already missing a few, more were breaking or beginning to rot. With my child's new condition there was even less money, and just like the absence of child support there was no help coming form my ex in dealing with this either. Bad changed to worse 4 months latter as my older son, 20 was admitted to the ICU in critical condition eventually being diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1 also. My work was less than understanding about my children's illness and even so I had been held up as an exemplary employee my work enviroment became very hostile. On the verge of mental exhaustion and physical collapse my doctor held me out of work and listed it as a workmans comp situation. While out on sick lease I was diagnosed with a tumor on my ovary and was operated on. I was wrongfully terminated and won my unemployment case, but the workman's comp case was set aside for lack of evidence and I don't have the funds or resources to hire/pay the attorney I need. Now out of work with even less money no insurance or benefits, left with a few bottom teeth and 1 and 3/4 of my two front teeth so that I am afraid to smile and I feel so insecure all the time that it is very difficult to get a new job. On top of all that I have now been diagnosed with Diabetes myself. I want to work and support my family and self, but it's extremely difficult and depressing with the obstacles I face. I have managed to take care of all the medical situations but my teeth, which are also holding me back from getting a job and allowing me to provide for my son and self. I have been told by dentists I need to have my remaining teeth pulled and get dentures. The rotting teeth and gunk in my mouth may even be the cause or contributing to my medical problems. If I could afford a slightly higher level of dental work, they said they might be able to save two of my bottom eye teeth and give me implants. Unfortunately I know that implants are beyond my wildest dreams. Now I just want to get these rotten teeth out of my mouth and get dentures, but that too is beyond my financial ability. I want to be able to smile at an interview and have people judge me on my skills and abilites, not my bad teeth. I want to be able to work again and take care of my boy. I want to give my son all he deserves and be able to smile back at him. He thinks I'm mad or sad all the time since I never smile.
I need help finding a way to pay for the dental work I need, and to be able to SMILE again!
UPDATE: I found a place that will pull my remaining teeth for $20.00 a tooth, (I still have a lot of broken teeth and roots besides the few full teeth left), but still cannot afford the dentures. So I'm still looking for help, resources, guideance, or any contribution of any kind which will all be greatly appreciated!

I am a 43 year old man that works full time and works side jobs just to pay the rent, electric bill, phone, and a little food each month. I am a single father of a 14 year old daughter. Im posting this out of pure desperation and praying the God will send someone to help me in my great time of need. My teeth hurt everyday, sometimes so bad that I cannot make it to work, putting my job in jeopardy. I need root canals, crowns, fillings, etc to fix my teeth. I do not want to get my teeth pulled, for I have lost way to many as it is. I recently had a check up and the dentist told me that if I dont get my teeth fixed soon, I will lose them, and some of them will start to abscess which could lead to infecttion and even blood clots that could go to my brain. I desperately need help with my teeth. If you decide to help me, you can verify all my dental records with my dentist. You and the dentist could work out the finacial details. I am a christian man who needs a miracle. My email address to email me at rdgjun@aol.com
I look forward to hearing from someone to help me in my most urgent time of need.
If I could just ask 36000 people to send me each one dollar ($1.00) then I could pay for the dental implants I need.
